I'm afraid I've neglected the site recently, mainly because I haven't been doing that much. However, I've just loaded 13 images, in various sections , so you'll have to explore.

Sheehan's Acoustic Avalon is Europe's biggest acoustic guitar festival, and as son Daniel works for Sheehans, a free pass and wander around snapping everything was most enjoyable.

An interesting day at the Whitby Goth Weekend. For everyone who doesn't know about it, over the weekend a lot of Goths gather together in Whitby (the home of Dracula) to talk to each other and hang out.

A family trip to Barcelona (well Vilanova which is about 30 miles away). I tried to capture some images when we were not eating, drinking, travelling or inside a museum - mixed weather and no sunrises here is the gallery.

More studio work at the Meadows club with Coral & Mel. This will probably be the last time at this venue before we move to Adrians new studio in Wigston.click here for a shot of each girl.

Another shoot with Charlotte, and this time with her friend Mariola. The time was spent around the Curve & Highcross area in Leicester, and we discovered some fantastic graffiti art around the new Phoenix Square building.Here are a few shots.

I attended two excellent arts events over the weekend. The first was the Birmingham Artsfest on Saturday.Here are three cute Irish Dancers posing for the camera. The second was Market Harborough Arts Fresco on Sunday where there were some entertaining and unusual acts.Here are a few from the day

Another Swithland shoot on Sunday afternoon with models Ashlea and Sophie, plus a vintage fire engine.
Two days later I attended a Mark Cleghorn seminar where I seized the opportunity to shoot one of the models(Rachel) he used.Here are a couple from each day

A short LFPS evening trip into Leicester to capture the Bowstring Bridge before its expected demolition later this month.Here it is

Fantastic weather brought out the crowds at this years carnival. I wanted to try and capture more of the people & carnival atmosphere this year, although I still took plenty of the parade. Here is a selection

Another sunny weekend at the in-laws on the Isle of Wight to collect Fiona. Managed to get a bit of scenery in Three are here
and also a visit to the Havenstreet Steam Fair.

Another couple of walk about sessions with folks from the LFPS. On the first we walked along the canal and finished with a curry, where we got talking to the owner who showed us his kitchen.

After about a dozen attempts, I finally got to go on last years birthday present of a balloon ride. It was a great experience, but not easy to capture the fantastic views with a camera. Shots nearer the ground with patterns in the fields etc work best I think.

Adrian (www.solopromotions.co.uk) organised a group shoot in a Leicester warehouse. Three well known top models and a local Miss Blaby Robyn Mattock (yes, she has an ex foxes brother) made it a great session.

I quite often go on a shoot with friends from the Leicester Forest Club, and the other evening we had a trip to Beacon Hill. Not a great night for photography but these sessions are more about sharing ideas and social intercourse.

I met up with Charlotte, and her helpful friend Natasha, in Hollycroft Park, Hinckley. The idea was to get some shots to enhance Charlotte's (and mine) portfolio. We were very lucky with a sunny summer's evening.

The Horn Supremacy are a 4-piece, all saxophone line-up, who provide music for corporate parties, private functions, outdoor events, and weddings.
They have not been formed long and wanted some shots for web/media use etc, so I was only too glad to oblige. These were taken during a playing break at the Leopold Square, Sheffield. Go to the pictures
